Far classier than the name (or exterior) suggests, this bar updates its small and pricey but scrummy beer list weekly.
Be warned there's not much seating but worth coming early for the free fries (and convivial atmosphere) around 7.

Popular Japanese restaurant on St Marks with $1.50 pints of Sapporo WWII decor and lots of small cheap dishes. The $4 agedashi tofu is delish.
